Almost Solo Show Time…

Patterson Hood June 13th, 2012

Patterson begins a three night four show solo acoustic run this week with a show on Friday at the Virginia Room inside the historic John Marshall Hotel in Richmond. Patterson has not played a full solo show in Richmond since 2006 and before that in 2003. Some really great priced VIP and general admission tickets are still available for Richmond. Saturday sees Hood on the solo tip again for not one but two shows in Annapolis followed up by a Father’s Day show Sunday at The Birchmere in Arlington,VA. This weekend’s four rare solo acoustic shows should really be unique with songs from Heat Lightning Rumbles In The Distance mixed in with a little Murdering Oscar,Killers And Stars plus stories and songs from DBT. Read the latest update from Patterson over on his official site and get to one of these shows if you can with or without a Quaalude.

I saw a great show last night at the John Marshall Hotel ballroom last night in Richmond. Great romp through both solo albums, Patterson’s upcoming release, truckers and some great Vince Chestnut. Encore story of the great snow tour to Chicago in 1997 (?) was a side splitter. Thanks Patterson, great to see you.
