Uncle Frank…
What we have here is spirited and pretty much just exactly perfect run through of one of my top five Cooley songs. Patterson really takes this one to the next level and after a blazing solo may or may not be awarded with an ass grab from Cooley(thankfully no reach around). Coming from the most recent Rock Show at The National in Richmond this shows that the Hood and Cooley partnership is stronger than ever. See and hear for yourself.
Thanksgiving’s Almost Over And Christmas Is Soon…
Patterson posted a Thanksgiving note today on the DBT book of face . Also check out this great video courtesy of our friend Roel van Dijk. It’s Patterson,Will Johnson, and Craig Finn doing Don’t Go Back To Rockville for the last song of their European Tour which we will hopefully see stateside next year(read Patterson’s note). I hope everyone remembered to get there thanksgiving filter on.
Get Downtown…
If you were not one of the two hundred or so folks lucky enough to see Cooley’s solo show at The Slipper Room in New York City last weekend here is a little taste of what you missed. Cooley continues his solo run over the next two weekends with five shows including two sell outs in Chicago. And there is also talk of a live Cooley album. Get to one of these shows if you can y’all.

The Duality…
Here’s a little bit of the end of Act 1 of the Southern Rock Opera but in reverse as the updated Three Great Alabama Icons goes into The Southern Thing instead of the other way around. Consider this Rock Opera twofer and victory for goats(and math, and gay marriage, and weed, and facts). This comes again from Saturday night’s most recent show at The National in Richmond and it is suggested that you play it loud.
Strap This One To The Top Of Your Car And Turn It Up…
Here’s something we know you’ll really like. The 3DD crew had their video cameras on hand for Saturday night’s Rock Show at The National and the results are in. This one is dedicated to that well known former presidential candidate and Zoophiles everywhere.

Buttholeville…
What we have here is a nice little blast from the end of the summer when the Rock Show hit The Georgia Theatre for two night’s back in August. The 3DD crew was on hand with our video cameras and since then Dr. John has been hard at work saving lives and mixing video and audio. More to come.
And What Rough Beast Slouches Towards Patterson…
Patterson was interviewed by a “big fan” from The Daily Beast and talks Politics,The Righteous Path,The Pride Of The Yankees and “alot of drinking on stage.”
Heat Lightning No Longer In The Distance…
Patterson’s new record Heat Lightning Rumbles In The Distance is out all nice and legal today. If you have not picked up your copy yet some cool options are available over on Patterson’s official site that include an immediate download of Heat Lightning along with some bonus tracks. Also Newbury Comics is offering an autographed CD booklet. I recommend picking it up on vinyl as that’s how it’s meant to be heard plus the vinyl comes with a CD of the entire record. After you have had a chance to listen a few times tell us what you think over on our message board and also check out this 3DD made video of Better Than The Truth. Was somebody wondering who this Billy Ringo dude who keeps popping up is?
