The other Wilmington (Delaware) - Weds 3/28
DBT first played the Queen in spring of 2014 and returned in spring of 2016. It's now spring of 2018 and I'd say we definitely have us a trend. Personally I couldn't be happier - Wilmington's only about 40 easy minutes south of Philly and the Queen is a beautiful venue.

In! I will be working a half day. No, really, for those keeping track, I'm working 7:30-12 and have to present a brief talk about our immigration database at a meeting which runs from 8:30-10:30. I'll be ready to get out of town at noon and head for the rawk show, courtesy of a ride from Bill.

In! Only 20 minute drive (if that without traffic).
When the lights came up we all went home but never quite the same.

through the kindness of a fellow HeAthen, I have an extra (free) ticket if anyone hasn't purchased one yet and is heading to the show.

Patterson commented during his great intro to The Tough Sell that it's the 20th anniversary of the release of Gangstabilly, and then damn they played half the record. Outstanding!! Not to mention they opened with Zip City and then three new ones right out of the gate. Was great to hear the combos of Pin Hits the Shell and Do It Yourself, also 18Wheels followed by Marry Me, and Henry Drinks followed by Women Without WHiskey. Also Guns of Umpqua dedicated to Emma Gonzalez. Man what a fun night, cannot wait to do it again on Saturday. I believe you Brooklyn Bowlers are in for a treat.
Here's a couple of pics, sorry about how big they are I don't know how to resize them.

Thanks Clams. Sorry to miss you this week but very psyched for the double dose of rock shows at one of my favorite NY venues.

Lefty Frizzell would not approve of Brad's new bass drum.Clams wrote:Patterson commented during his great intro to The Tough Sell that it's the 20th anniversary of the release of Gangstabilly, and then damn they played half the record. All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

Excellent pics, Clams. I was digging on that mirrored bass drum head in Macon.
Kick out the jams motherfuckers.
