HWA rocks. Haven't really delineated favorite tracks yet, but this is going to be high on the list this year, I'd think.

It's perfectly fine blues rock, but on first listen, unremarkable. There has been way more interesting stuff this year

I don't hear that. The vocals and instrumentation are very well balanced.

Again I don't hear that. I think School's production here is far more balanced and nuanced than anything I've heard from Dave Cobb.

The record was produced by Dave Schools. Were you under the impression it was Cobb?
