A red '65 Mustang. Bought it in 1975 for $200 and drove the absolute SHIT out of it. Sold it a couple years later when I got married.
Wish I still had the car.
Glad the ex is an ex.

Car I drove in high school was a dark green, 1984 Renault Alliance stick. It had no AC and only had an AM radio.

First car I bought was a 1990 Honda CRX. That thing was amazing and I wish I still had it

First new car we bought in 1999 was this. It was forest green and plenty of room in the back for the child set for The Boy.

I love French cars, even if they were built in Wisconsin

"The first one that I bought was a Mustang #2"
That line always makes me smile, (and cringe just a little).
Mine was a '76. Trunk and backseat so small, my bass had to ride shotgun :)

everyone knows the finest ride of all time is the 1981 Dodge Diplomat. In light blue, with a leather roof...and a bumper sticker that says "Lefties Have Rights Too.") Best $300 I've ever spent.

And, in this case, bought in Wisconsin. My family traded in their powder blue AMC half-wagon for the Renault. Nothing like going on family driving vacations in a shitty sub-compact car that can barely maintain 55mph uphill

'86 Dodge Charger. When I had a minor accident with this car, my buddies and I bought some spray paint the night it happened, and ended up putting the Van Halen "VH" on the hood. Got home quite late that night, and my dad was PISSED. More that I had had an accident and didn't come home right away. We then spray painted the whole thing black and put white racing stripes on it a la "Melba Toast" from Dazed and Confused. Somehow, the spray paint lasted all winter, and until I sold it.

I'm sure it was a pretty expensive option. Now I don't think you can but a car in the states that doesn't have it

My first was a '63 Ford Galaxie four door with a 352 V8.
Just like Andy and Barney's squad car (during the '63 season anyway), except it was all white and didn't have a si-reen:

I loved that car. RIP.

a brown 79 Toyota Corolla disgustingly similar to the one pictured above, except it was a 2 door. She was a 4-speed with a manual choke, roll down windows, no AC, a crappy radio, etc. The rubber around the stick shift was all ripped so you could actually see the ground below rushing by as you drove. Finally replaced her after about 110,000 miles in 1990. She was a beauty, god bless her.

Hated that f'n car. killed the clutch once and rolled backwards down a hill. You couldn't do donuts for shit in it either.

Ya know, I thought about it later and actually that truck in my avatar was my first car. Grandpa gave it to me when I was in High school, but none of us trusted it enough to be my actual daily car, hence the Mustang.

1978 Mercury Zephyr - hand me down from my great grandparents...in 1996.

Only drove it for about three months before I'd saved up enough to buy a '92 Chevy S10. Same color combo as below, but mine was definitely in better shape.
