I thought that had to be a joke, but judging from the comments, we are to take it at face value. As someone once said, what the actual fuck? This guy is seriously sick.

Not familiar with Three Year Letterman?
Fairly certain it’s a parody account, regardless of commenters taking it seriously
How you or anyone else take it is entirely up to you/anyone else

While I don't normally root against SEC teams when they play against non conference teams, I am so glad Texas won!
I also don't buy into everything is bigger in Texas, unless you're talking pussy.
And speaking of pussy, I got a question for Auburn fan.
How long before Dion's your coach?

In refreshing college football news, the Trinity Bantams are off to a fine start after a 44-19 thumping of Tufts. Next up: Colby. Go Bants!

Per the Athletic:
Haley Van Voorhis, a safety for Division III’s Shenandoah, became the first woman to play a position besides kicker in an NCAA football game, recording a quarterback hurry in the win over Juniata.

Bow down to Washington! They had a hiccup this week but came out with a win. It was a trap game after the come down from beating Oregon. I feel pretty good about UW making the playoff & Penix winning the Heisman.

The winning score in the Trinity Bantams football team's seven wins. Unfortunately, they lost one game, to Middlebury, which has also only lost one game. I assume that if both teams win out (one game remaining for each) Middlebury will win the league based on head to head record but I don't know that for a fact. Which would be too bad because, among other things, the loss was by 5 points (20-15) and the seven wins were by an aggregate of 326-74, or an average score of 47-11, which is pretty darn impressive in any league. Well done, coach and good luck this weekend, even if you are playing my favorite NESCAC school.
*A shutout.

Thanks, Bubba!
That Middlebury loss was painful. We had 444 yards of total offense that game, but only managed 15 points (5 FGs). Had the ball on the +2 yard line with 10 seconds remaining and couldn't punch it in. Would love to replay that one....
That said, the league rule is that if two teams have an identical record, they share the conference title. Head-to-head is irrelevant. So, as weird as it is, we are co-champs with the team that spoiled our perfect season.

Not sure if this goes here or in the politics thread, lol, but "the committee" sure has a lot of work to do and not much time to do it.
Random thought from a distant observer: In the be careful what you wish for department, if TX gets in and neither GA nor AL does, Texas's welcome to the SEC next year is likely to be especially brutal.

Free Shoes U got screwed. Seems wrong to leave an undefeated team out for 2 1 loss teams. & perhaps Michigan shouldn't be in as they're cheaters like the Houston Asstros. GO UW!!!!!!!

As a Longhorn, I'm happy with the (deserved) inclusion of Texas. I can't argue that the best four teams are in, but I do think the committee screwed up.
1) Not including FSU. Undefeated with a similar resume as the rest of the field. Come on. Have the stones to leave out the SEC. I get that they aren't the same team after an injury, but they did win. It's unfair and reeks of the real reason behind the decision - money. I feel bad for all those young men who did what they needed to do, only to get hosed in the end.
2) Why not rank UW #1? It would put them in the Rose Bowl to end the Pac-12, they have at least as good a resume as Michigan...and if the "eye test" matters so fucking much, maybe the "admitted cheater" test should too?
Rant over. Bet you a beer on the Huskies vs Horns, chuck.
