I think a few years ago someone quoted TP (not toilet paper, rather Tom Petty) as saying, “the waiting is the hardest part,” in regard to the period of time between the homecoming ticket purchase and the rock show.

We booked at the Holiday Inn Express. I would do an air b n b with some of y’all at some point, but we just went ahead and got a room while the getting was good.

Which reminds me: Just once I'd love for someone to introduce me to their "niece." One reads about it all the time, but I've never actually seen it.
