The Norva - July 24th
I haven't heard or seen to much talk of this show. Thinking about making the trip down from PA. The April 18th 2012 show at the Norva was one of my favorite DBT shows. I loved the Norva experience. Kind of sad the Jewish Mother's Place isn't there anymore.
Re: The Norva - July 24th
Come on down! We've got a decent head count so far, I think. Me, Ramonz, UR & CG, Brett coming up from Raleigh, likely a few more suspects that haven't committed yet.
Now it's dark.

Looks like 3DD will be well represented! I'm pretty sure several others from the various FB groups are attending as well.

Who knows? Maybe a band will even show up and play a few tunes.Flea wrote:I like the way this is shaping up.

I'm officially in for this one, look forward to seeing everyone. For some reason, I think I owe Flea and Ramonz a beer.

Why not impress the locals and buy them each a beer?Gang Green wrote:I'm officially in for this one, look forward to seeing everyone. For some reason, I think I owe Flea and Ramonz a beer.

There should be a "locals drink on the visitor's tab" board rule. Take care of that John, please.

And I thought you Southerners were supposed to be such good hosts. I thought it was the other way 'round. If we had managed to get together today, dinner would have been on me for sure. (Easy to say now that we're not :lol)Flea wrote:There should be a "locals drink on the visitor's tab" board rule. Take care of that John, please.

Been away from you heathens and this band for too damn long! Can't wait for 7/24.
Hey, been thinking about cooking up some burgers/dogs/chicken (and, um, beer) pre-show that Friday. We'd get the mancave rolling, spin some records, hang out, catch up, and get lubed for the show. Lemme know if interested and can make it - if we get enough folks committed, it will happen.
I'm a 5-10 minute drive from the Norva. Wife and daughters have given me free reign - should be a good time.

Driving? I hate that drive out of Myrtle Beach to 95 (the way I go back to Raleigh). Those backroads in eastern NC are Deliverance-like scary lol.Jonicont wrote:

I got an email on Monday saying my tickets had been moved to will call and shipping costs would be refunded. I ordered through the DBT site, FWIW.brett27295 wrote:Anyone get their tickets yet? We ordered ours a few weeks ago & they still haven't arrived yet.
