Man! You're a tough audience:
But okay. Here's you a toast a day late:
The sooner we put those assholes in the grave&piss on the dirt above it, the better off we'll be
Any idea if 2015 will be available at HC and/or what it might look like?
(any sniglets out there for the fact that no work can get done 2 weeks before HC? I wonder if the Feds take this into account when they release Q1 output? )

I was snowed in last year on Thursday but in years past I always bought my shirt and poster on Night 1.
Turn you demons into walls of goddamned noise and sound.
That'd be a Marianne Faithfull/KISS cover band. Anyway, I said it's a toast, right? It clearly says, "To Two Weeks!" phonetically speaking. Bad grammar my ass.
(To which I want to reply, "And doctor my eyes!" I think I'll put on the Who at the Isle of Wight again.)

I admit it went over my head. Nicely done.
What used to be is gone and what ought to be ought not to be so hard

Thank you. That's a relief, 'cause I took a risk and put on First Rays of the New Rising Sun instead.
BRIEF RETURN: Shit. I just played that whole record? It just stopped. Damn. Eighteen tracks and whattaya get? Your bath ain't full and you're covered in sweat.

Some days I still can't believe that happened. Not in the tin hat sense, but what an amazing, glorious, thrilling moment. It can still give me chills.
For those of you younger than about 50, it must be a very different thing: An historical fact, a given, kind of like the Wright Brothers or whatever for me, yet the end of the manned space program (except for the space station) and the general lowering of expectations of what we're capable of and can afford must make it seem like, i don't know, science fiction? trivia? just more boring history to be learned for the test?

Just as an aside the percentage of people that think it was a hoax rises every year and reportedly includes as many as three members of Congress. Might be time to invest in those foil hats.
But yes it was an inspiring moment I will never forget.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Or in cloning My Hero, Buzz Aldrin:
I toured Houston Control as a young Boy Scout and once found myself at an event with eleven--count 'em, eleven!--astronauts among only a few hundred of us mere mortals, but that clip gives me a bigger thrill than anything else related to the space program other than that actual first step itself.

That sucks! What's the point in staying mostly undrunk at the 40 Watt if you can't watch those who didn't slide up and down and up Mount Sistafuss to Teh Dazed Inn? I stay sober enough to dodge the downhill human bowling balls for a reason, and that reason is as least as much my own amusement as my own safety.

The place linked below is very good and it's not far from Athens. Some of us ate there last November on the way from Athens to Charlotte. Any interest in another trip?
