Their Halloween party is that Friday night. My wife tends bar there on the side. Should be a good time.

I recommend ERONEL for pre show. Walking distance fro casino and easily the coolest bar in that area.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looks great!

I didn't notice this place when I was there for work last fall, but it looks really cool.

EDIT: It looks like they don't open until 7:00PM on Wednesdays. Going to make for a tough pregame when the concert starts at 8 and has no openers.

So I bought one for the IA show and it turns out I can't make it. Looking forward to the Chicago show of course.

If anyone wants my one (GA Floor) shoot me and email and I will get it to you. mike_steadman@hotmail.com I don't want any $$$ I just don't want to waste my ticket. See you all at the Vic!!

Yep, looks like they have been added to the show. They appear to be one of Iowa's leading rockabilly bands.

Looks like I'm in. Woo hoo.

Will be driving from downtown Chicago (passing O'Hare and northwest suburbs) on Wed. afternoon, so if anybody needs a ride let me know. Iowan, keep us posted on pre-show meeting places.

What time do you all figure this show will start? I'm being bugged to attend and I really do want to, so what are my logistics like?

They will open at 5pm (or earlier if they need to) to accommodate folks for the DBT show. Easily a much cooler place then a hotel bar. Really good people who run it.

Does anyone have a ballpark idea of when our favorite band will take the stage?

Greetings amigos! Looking forward to seeing everybody. CG and I have had our boots on the ground here in the DBQ since earrrrrrly this morning after a marathon drive last night. Got some intel that GW is en route, as are LBRod and Bill. We're going to poke around downtown for a bit; looks like there is more to do here than I remember there being. If we settle at a spot to pregame I'll post it here; if not we're at the Holiday Inn and are stocked up on Old Style and Grain Belt. See y'all soon, eh?

The folks at Eronel are taking a buck off everything all night for DBT Ticket holders. Opening up at 5:30 at the corner of 3rd and Main St bellow the Crust restaurant.
Great beer , whisky and music selection.

If anyone is driving and not drinking I could use a ride from the Grand Harbor to one of the pre-show taverns. I'm allergic to car keys and beer, every time I mix them I break out in handcuffs. Or perhaps, DBQ has a capable cab service.

The hotel or casino might have a shuttle service available. Green Cab is probably the cheapest and most reliable cab company if you’re looking to go that route, their number is 563-495-4444. If you’re capable of walking it’s a very short trip across the bridge over the highway to the Main St. Entertainment District where the majority of bars are located.

Thanks, how is the weather. It just started raining rather steadily in the QC area.
