i'm going to be there and bringing a lovely new lady friend to her first shows.

Hoping to catch a pretty good deal on a hotel around downtown. Maybe Priceline will come through for me at some point over the next few weeks.

In regards to the "Cooley in Chapel Hill" thread, for the record I will be drinking beer, hooting and hollering, singing along, and at times pumping my fist in the air this Friday and Saturday. I will however not be drunkenly bumping into people spilling beer on them, trying to cop a feel, or otherwise acting like a dipshit.

If they open up with Lookout Mountain either night all bets are off though.

Y'all coming into town for the shows, check out my buddy's Irish pub Finnigan's Wake, 2 blocks down Trade St. from the venue. 30 Scotches, 40 taps, and a great kitchen.

24 hours till I head north for the Rock Shows! I may be old but I'm immature so I'm looking forward to lots of adolescent fun!!! Wonder if anyone's ever tried all 30 scotches and/or all 40 taps in one weekend at Finnigan's Wake?
