More northeast tour dates?

Post by Penny Lane »

Saw an email from the Portland (State Theater) for 11/18 with Jessica Leah Mayfield?!
Wondering if anyone else has seen any dates or did I miss a thread? It's not on the theater's website but an email went out..

PM me your email, I'll forward :-) I would NOT do that.
I have tix for the awesome Deer Tick/Felice Bros show in Boston that night--I'd have to skip! Never been to Portland!

Portland's a great little town - not on the scale of n'awlins or nuthin, but a fun town w/ lots of good bars, restaurants, history, an excellent art museum and a decent music scene, most of it in a nice compact easily walked downtown area. And of course there's the not inconsiderable matter of the lobstah.

YES!

But why is none of this on the DBT site yet? It would sure help planning to know what this leg of the tour is going to look like. Plus it would make me sound a little less like a maniac to my less rabid friends if i wasn't serial emailing them every 12 hours w/ the latest LOL.

I am considering Ithaca. Cool town, maybe not as great as Syracuse, but plenty of the white stuff all winter long.

Looks like there might be an open date or two on that swing. Maybe some shows that haven't been confirmed yet.

No NYC which makes me wonder if another New Years Eve show is a possibility.

Really thrilled about these northeast dates! Yay!!! Maybe we'll get really really really lucky and they'll sneak in a Toad's New Haven date? They haven't played there since Jan 09, so, maybe? Pretty please? Not that I'm trying to be greedy, just hopeful.

What the heck is going on? When I click on the DBT site myself, I don't get the updated shows; when i click on Uncle Rickey's link, I do.

And what's the deal w/ the GA tix in Portland? I thought the State Theater is a theater w/ seats, at least that's the way it looks on the theater's website. I figured what the heck, buy tickets first, ask questions later, so that's what i did, but i'm awful bad confused, even more than usual.

Heading back to purchase HOB tix!

Saw her open for the Avett Brothers recently. Studio stuff is kind of mellow. Rocked it out live.

she was mousy (and fall over drunk) when I saw her open for the Avetts in 2010. Seemed like the polar opposite of DBT.

and all you NOLA people bitching about anything need to shut the fuck up. Some of us haven't seen DBT in over a year

The State Theater in Portland's a sweet little hole. It was buttoned up for a few years with a uncertain future, but new owners have got it up onto its feet and are cranking out the shows.

Looks like we'll be crawling out of the woods for this one ...
Let's play now ... we can tune up later.
