Re: MLB 2014
James Shields It is a little odd that he hasn't signed yet, I would think there is a shoulder problem waiting to happen with Big Game James, he has thrown so many innings the last 5 years, if not mistaken the most in MLB. Hard to take that many innings without any injury. I am in KC, and cannot than...

Re: American Aquarium Thread
New album "Wolves" drops 2/3 and it's pretty damn solid. For the homecoming heathens, I would highly recommend coming in a day early and catching their Georgia Theater show. Got he pre release this weekend. Have two dates in March within 20 miles of me. I have seen them about 6 times now, always pu...

Re: Zac Brown Band Recorded Dress Blues
Been some funny tweets about this. Most notably all the folks that thought it was ZBB's song, got a good laugh.
Jason makes good point with his second tweet about popular country music.

Re: dbt opening for eric church
Lot's of strong opinions here. I wouldn't put him in the bro country category so quickly, as he writes most of his songs. Listen to Caught In The Act, his live record from 2013. Some cheese, but mostly good stuff. As others have said, nice payday and new fans = good for the band. Thanks Vincent, to...

Re: Sunday Valley - To the Wind and Onto Heaven - where find
So I have spent the better part of the weekend listening to this Sunday Valley. When I get hooked on something I tend to binge listen. I tell you what, I am sold. I am liking some of it better than the solo stuff. One song that really stood out is "I Don't Mind" what a great song.

Re: Jason at The Ryman for three (!!) nights!
Wonder if we are going to see any recordings or video from Jason. Seems like a special enough run to make something official. I didn't recall reading on the ticket if there was any recording restrictions, I don't remember Jason ever lifting that ban, anyone heard? Ok so back to my poster dilemma, wh...

Well I got my Hatch Print yesterday. A customer of mine in Nashville was lucky enough to get two of them and he sent me one. So screw that merch guy! Still haven't seen Sunday's set list, or how Sturgill Simpson was. I am going to go see him next month here in KC, really digging his style excited to...

Yeah, thanks coach. Sounds like a good show. It's always weird when there's a rock show and nobody from 3dd is there to report it. Kind of like that tree falling in the forest. I hope we get some news about tonite's show. I KNOW tomw is covered w/ all those colorado crazies :) I can't believe I for...

Re: Jason at The Ryman for two nights!
It looks like all of the pre-sale tickets wound up on stubhub for $140 each. I missed tickets because I was traveling and went the stub hub route. Friday night, decent seats, 180 for both. Wife and I do a Nashville trip every year in the fall, perfectly awesome we get to see Jason. I hope to see a ...

Re: Jason: St. Louis 2/9 at Plush, 2/10 at Off Broadway
If memory serves, it looks like Jason is lengthening his set. That's not a bad thing. Not at all, it was right at 2:05 long. I have noticed in the three times I have seen him that he doesnt like to do the leave the stage for 10 minutes and come back out encore. So that saves at least one tune. Muti...

Re: Jason: St. Louis 2/9 at Plush, 2/10 at Off Broadway
Great set last night. Packed house at an awesome venue, Off Broadway. Highlights for me was an awesome Stockholm didn't realize that song could rock so hard. Also right before Mutineer Jason was reminiscing about how good St. Louis had been to him and the DBT before. He told a story that DBT was doi...

On the ticketing web site, they originally listed a 4/11 Crossroads KC show that has since been removed.
