Cooley Did An Interview With A Magazine From Birmingham…
In advance of DBT’s performance at The Hangout Festival this weekend Cooley did an interview with Birmingham Magazine where he mentions an upcoming DBT show in the Shoals this July:
Blake Ells for Birmingham Box Set: You and Patterson have been the only constants over 20 years. Is that relationship easy?
Mike Cooley: Mostly.
BBS: You’ve played with some of the Shoals’ finest, including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Spooner Oldham. Will we ever see you guys work with him again?
MC: I’m sure it’ll happen again at some point. We don’t have plans for another record yet, other than that we will do one. At some point. We’re gonna do a show in the Shoals in July and we’re trying to get him to join us.
