Out today on Black Friday and on what is turning out to be the second Record Store Day of the year is a limited edition 10″ vinyl release of Thanksgiving Filter (b/w) I Used To Be A Cop. In addition to the damn good looking Wes Freed cover art each record comes with a digital download and is pressed on audiophile vinyl.They only made 2,500 so these fuckers are likely to go fast. Among a whole slew of special releases out today are records from Springsteen,Gaslight Anthem,U2,Tom Petty,and a really cool a limited edition, numbered 180-gram vinyl set of All Things Must Pass. I deliberately did not order any of this stuff on line in hope of supporting my favorite record shop here in Richmond so I’ve got my fingers crossed.
